The Service Appointment Coordinator is responsible for taking incoming
phone calls in the Service Department and setting up appointments for
Service Customers. We are looking for a very special individual with
impeccable customer service skills and phone etiquette.
Job Responsibilities:
-Answer the service phone lines, greets each customer in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
-Ask the customer qualifying questions to uncover needs and directs calls appropriately
-Ensures that service consultants receive messages promptly
-Make service appointments if service consultants are unavailable,
route appointment information to the appropriate service consultant
-Provide reporting to dealership management
-Collect the total retail charges from the customer in cash, check or authorized charge account
-Provide the customer with the proper change and/or receipt
-Properly process and document charge purchases according to the policies established by the controller
-Close all internal repair orders promptly and route to billing clerk for processing
-File accounting copies of repair orders and parts tickets; file hard copies of repair orders in customer service files
-Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission
and values in all interactions with customer, co-workers and suppliers
-Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

The Parts Retail Counterperson is responsible for obtaining parts and
accessories for both the mechanical shop and retail customers. This
individual must maintain the Parts Department in a clean and orderly
manner. The Parts Counterperson will assist with inventory ordering,
stocking and control.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Promptly meet and assist both the technician and the retail guest in a friendly and courteous manner.
o Obtain the correct parts and accessories for both the technician and the retail guest in a timely manner.
o Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing
source and transfer the information to the proper document and computer
system.
o Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.
o Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
o Maintain the parts department in clean and orderly manner.
This is a physically demanding position. Individual sill be required to
move throughout the parts shelves all day, reaching and climbing to
obtain parts from inventory. Will stand six to eight hours during a
shift at the customer counter. Must be able to lift seventy five pounds
and climb at least two flights of stairs. When delivering parts to the
Service Department or Body Shop, will be exposed to noise, dust and
exhaust fumes, paint and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Required Experience:
Ideal candidate will have:
o Must have Automotive experience
o Experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
o Good comprehension of parts manuals.
o Good communication skills.
o Mechanical aptitude.
o Completion of parts seminars that include selling skills, telephone skills, stocking and inventory control.
As a Service Technician you will be responsible for performing vehicle
repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and
factory standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
o Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
o Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
o Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
o Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean
o Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
o Document work performed on back of repair order
