How
does Overseas Delivery work?
Every
year, more people take advantage of Volvo's Overseas Delivery Program
than any other manufacturer. Of the roughly 6,000 vehicles sold
through manufacturer Overseas Delivery Programs each year, almost
half of them are sold through Volvo, with a satisfaction rate of 99
percent. There are also special programs available for military
members stationed abroad, diplomats, and expatriates.
To
get yourself started, order the Volvo of your choice from Prestige.
You can choose from of available cars, as there is always an
extensive inventory at hand, usually with special incentives. You
also have the option to custom-build your own vehicle, hand-picking
features included, exterior and interior color, and so on. Whether
the vehicle is in stock or customized, your new Volvo will be
discounted significantly. We assist you with the necessary paperwork,
including your temporary Swedish registration. Fifteen working days
after submitting your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation
Package, including detailed instructions for organizing your trip
with Volvo's Travel Department.
Pick
up your new Volvo at the Gothenburg Factory Delivery Center or any
official delivery location in Europe. We will register your new car
for your stay walk you through the process of obtaining European
insurance, and provide you Volvo On Call Service's protection. There
are many exciting packages to choose from as you explore the roads of
Sweden in your new Volvo. You may choose to tour famous golf courses,
explore Swedish historical sights, or just have a few days of fun
with the family. Your new Volvo is covered under a six-year,
unlimited mileage warranty while on your European vacation.
Once
you have had your fill of fun, just drop off your Volvo in Gothenburg
or any official drop-off location. We'll ship it to you and take care
of all the problems that make importing a car difficult, from excise
taxes to import duties. Approximately six to 12 weeks upon returning
home, your vehicle will arrive back at Prestige Volvo.
